OPT4BLACH – „Opto-numerical methods of testing and monitoring of low-cost public utility objects made of graded-metal plates”


The major goal of the project is to extend the applicability of metal plates structures and to implement an innovative technology (esp. ABM system) for building of large-size, public utility civil engineering structures (exhibitions halls, sport centres).

The realization of this aim concerns works in three domains: development of an opto-numerical methodology of analysis and optimization of metal plate structures, development of a novel multi-camera Digital Image Correlation system (nDIC) for measurements of large-size building structures and elaboration of guidelines to establish domestic and European technical approvals and standards of measurements (with nDIC) for graded metal plates structures. The methodology and system will be implemented in laboratory and out-of-door studies of metal plate structures and the results will be used for significant extend of the design and building companies and increase of the safety of public utility large size civil engineering structures.[more]
