dr inż. Paweł Ossowski
Skrócony życiorysI received my MSc. Eng. degree in Technical Physics with specialization in Medical Physics from Nicolaus Copernicus University, Faculty of Physics, Astronomy and Informatics in 2011. Since 2012 I was a PhD student in Institute of Physics at NCU in Toruń. During my PhD studies I was involved in research on physical properties of biological scattering media using Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), focusing on analysis of the OCT dynamic measurement data for flowing blood cells and realistic simulations of OCT image formation. Since the beginning of my doctoral studies I was an R&D Specialist (2012-2014) in the academic spin–off company – AM2M (Institute of Physics, Toruń), commercializing the scientific results for outside companies. I defended my PhD thesis in 2018. In years 2017-2020 I worked in the start-up company, Scoptonic, taking advantage of my skills in the fields of optical design, optical engineering and computer simulations in optics. Currently I work in the project BiOpTo “Tomographic phase microscope for biomedical applications” realized within TEAM-TECH program of the Foundation for Polish Science.
- optical tomography, optical analysis of biological cells, computer simulations in optics, optical design (OSLO).
